Speaking of momming and being an entrepreneur, what would you say is the most challenging thing about being a working mama? What is the most rewarding?
Similar to motherhood, being an entrepreneur means you wear a lot of hats. You have to be multiple things, to multiple people–at different times. This can be exhausting and soon you forget to be “something” the most important person in your life–YOU! So, it is a constant challenge of taking care of everyone else and finding time to take care of your self. But, I love being a mother to my children. Watching them grow, develop, problem solve, show emotions, share, speak up, engage, create…. it’s the most rewarding part of motherhood.
A #SAVOIRMompreneur is seasoned, refined, confident, graceful and intuitive. What does this look like in your everyday life?
My intuition is my super power. I call it my secret sauce. When I follow it, my heart is full, I’m confident, I make decisions with ease. When I go against my intuition or if something feels “off”, I begin to have doubts, confusion, and feelings of wanting to quit. So EVERYDAY I seek the inner voice inside of me. Where is she telling me to go, what is she telling me say and what will she have me do.
What’s your best advice to female business owners looking to start and/or grow a family?
There is no perfect time to do anything. The only time we have is now.
