Last year something powerful happened to me – I set some intentions at the beginning of the year which included, ‘shooting a second line in New Orleans.’ Early in the spring of 2017, Cassandra, a friend of Angelica’s (one of my most favorite brides to this day!) called to tell me her and Jason were planning a destinatation in The Big Easy in April 2018 and were looking for a wedding photographer. There was one caveat – they live in Los Angeles and needed their engagement photos there. I mean, if this wasn’t the universe responding to my ask for a trip to NOLA to shoot a second line, then pigs must fly!

I met Cassandra and Jason in Old Town Pasadena on a September afternoon. They were easy around each other, and naturally, easy in front of the camera. Referral business works this way – if you have client you love, chances are you are going to love their friends too. And I did.

The happy couple will be married today in New Orleans’ French Quarter and I am here to document it. It’s true that dreams do come true – for couples and photographer’s alike!
