Superbloom is slowly fading here in SoCal as the warm (HOT!) weather starts to set in. So I am beyond myself when I look over this shoot from a visit to the poppies earlier this month. We were all totally unprepared – we had no idea you had to hike into the canyon about a mile to see the poppies (ACK!) and then it was SO HOT that day that I took my button down off and made a tube top. As a SoCal native I have never seen anything like this – it was just spectacular!
