If we’ve ever met in person you might know that I spent 10 years working in urban schools before becoming a full time photographer. So it goes without saying that photographing schools and children makes me feel right at home because it’s a literal marriage of the things I love, and have spent most of my life doing.
Earlier this year I set out on mission to network more, because increasing my database of other badass women, and overall cool people, has a direct benefit to my business. At a fun monthly mastermind dinner that a friend, Jan McCarthy, hosts, I met Rebecca. We are kindred spirits; bilingual educators looking to make the world go ’round by exposing kids (and their families) to the best of travel, food, and culture that this little ole world has to offer.
In addition to running World City Center, a dual language pre school in West Adams, she also runs and operates Family Go Global. I was lucky to shoot WCC’s school portraits and also a few fun shots of their space. If you know of any progressive schools in the LA Metro area looking to take their media presence to the next level, please put us in touch!
